Countdown

Today we took Eve to preschool then Toby and I went to the skatepark and the playground but had to come home for the shopping to arrive.

At home we did some math factor – Toby’s times tables have definitely improved since using Math Factor. He knows lots off by heart and can work out the others without problems.

We looked at some Maths and Science apps we could perhaps get for the iPad.

Once the shopping arrived I put on a Countdown episode – Toby really enjoyed this and called me in to watch bits. He was impressed that Carol Voderman could do the maths so well 🙂

We went to collect Eve and went to the skatepark, playground and street climbing. It was really hot again but both Toby and Eve were okay with it although Eve is not impressed with suncream!

Once at home Toby watched a VSauce.

In the afternoon Toby was inventing games on the whiteboard for us to play – variants of noughts and crosses with bigger boards, portals, blockers and bridges.

We played Set game as a memory game where you turned over 3 cards and got another turn if you got a set. 

Toby did a page in the 8-9 year old English workbook about the past, present and future tense.

Toby did a little bit of jacascript with Chris before bed.
