Reading Murderous Maths of Everything book

Walked Eve to and from preschool. Unfortunately Toby has been put off the park because someone set fire to the Street Climbing 🙁

Discussing how taxes work. What do they pay for? Who pays them and how much? Using percentages. We were talking first about Nannie’s operation on Wed, Toby said would she get her money back if it didn’t work. So we talked how the NHS and Education and how we pay through our taxes so that everyone can have these services and the rich pay more than the poor. He showed a good understanding and was very interested.

Mathematical google docs and spreadsheet and sharing them.

Walking to collect Eve then went to the shops – had to wait around a bit. Both Toby and Eve did well 🙂

Drew a joke ‘Pi in a pi’ drawing of Pi with Pi’s digits. Then adding people talking about eating pie!
