Borromean rings

We watched In a nutshell about Energy at breakfast time.

We walked Eve to preschool and then went to the playground and then the street climbing. We spent ages climbing – we extended Toby's game from yesterday with more prices for items at the shop.

While at the playground Toby was calculating powers of 7 and got to 7 to the power of 5. He came up with a great way but multiplying the previous power but 50 and minus the number.

At home we made a Möbius strip and Borromean rings out of pipe cleaners. We also calculated 7 to higher powers with Toby's method.

We went to collect Eve.

Once at home Toby drew Borromean rings and mazes.

Toby and Eve played outside with the hose and after a tricky start, they got on well!

Toby did JavaScript programming and the Coding Game.
