Complex numbers

This morning Toby and I walked Eve to preschool. We then gave the soft play cafe in MyPlace a go. Toby had a nice 20 mins playing and chatting to the lady who worked there but it wasn’t worth the money for Toby’s age. Toby and I chatted about how we couldn’t ask for money back and it was good to try new things 🙂

We came home and Toby showed me some of the puzzles on The Room.

We did a bit of programming.

Toby watched the Great Courses Joy of i video all about complex numbers. We then watched more videos on complex numbers and their history. Toby tried out lots of calculations involving i on Symbolic Calculator.

He did some mathematical drawings and mazes. He then drew a map for us to see if we could colour it with just 4 colours. He tried to make it as difficult as possible so we were pleased we did it!

I sat next to Toby while he did 6 EdPlaces – mostly Science ones.

We went to collect Eve and came home via the chemists.

Toby read a book about Space at bedtime.
