Highlodge

Toby read Aliens Stink book all the way to Highlodge.

Once there he did brilliant, enthusiastic hellos! He spotted a huge inflatable slide, he asked to have a go – it turned out to be quite hard work to get up to the top through soft play mesh. He did well getting up and sliding down twice.

We went on the playground next – did the assault course, lots of climbing and balancing. Followed by climbing frames and the huge Fort with very long slides! We walked through the forest doing the music trail. He then helped Jasmine and Luke to start building a den – his arm got scraped when it all fell down. He was upset both that it fell and that he got injured but recovered well and went on a giant swing 🙂

Lunch was straightforward although he did get bored of eating!

After lunch we went back to the playground and spent ages swinging, climbing, balancing and laughing at Luke playing around.

On the way home he read books including Jeremy Strong – One hundred mile an hour dog.

After dinner, Toby played Battleships with Auntie Jennifer for ages 🙂
