We went to Norfolk on Tuesday and got back late on Thursday evening. Toby really enjoys going to visit Aunty Maggy, Aunty Linda, Jasmine and Luke and this time was just the same.

On the car journeys Toby did lots of reading  (mainly maths) and watching Ted Eds on a wide variety of subjects.

While we were there Toby enjoyed lots and lots of swimming with Eve, Luke, Jasmine and me. He did running on the running machine including a single 2k run 🙂

He and Eve loved the trampoline – he said that it was better than a million iPads!

He and Eve played on the field; climbing on the climbing frames and running around lots. They were playing imaginary games together involving the weather and portals!

Toby did very well at mealtimes – each day he managed to sit at the table and finish his evening meals without any devices. He was willing to try new foods and even ate one dinner without the video camera.

We had a day out at Melsop Farm Park on Thursday. Toby loved the giant climbing frame, trampoline and sand pit outside. He and Eve played beautifully on the indoor soft play with each other then with Jasmine and Luke too. It was amazing that he didn’t start to escalate at all and was considerate of the other children around.

Toby came to look at some of the animals too but asked to leave so Chris took him to the car while we spent some more time looking at the animals.

Aunty Jennifer gave Toby puzzle books for Easter and they spent some time together solving some puzzles. He was nervous about getting things wrong but listened to Jennifer when she reassured him.
