We walked Eve to preschool then went to playground followed by street climbing. Toby said he was tired (unusually) so we got the bus home.

We did quite a bit of math factor – we watched Algebra – order of operations videos. It was brilliant because as I was trying to explain subtraction in algebra, Toby became very animated and said ‘It gets glued together in the maths factory in the sky!’. What I was saying reminded him of Murderous Maths, The Phantom X and he then completely understood and got all answers correct! A lot of questions! After that we did the Negative Numbers Grand Genius Test – Toby found this pretty easy.

We then did a couple of Ed Place worksheets. One on important words in sentences made Toby laugh lots because sentences without important words were very funny!

We then played Battleships.

We went to pick Eve up then came home via the rally, playground and street climbing. We couldn’t stay too long as we had SNAPtastic.

Once home Toby read Aliens Stink.

We went to SNAPtastic – Toby did a range of activities including Toby version of Noughts and Crosses (big version), the large touch screen games, spots game with dominoes, sensory room, soft play, patterns with counters and hungry fish. Brilliant!

Toby read Aliens Stink on the way home.

Toby watched a bit of the political debates then we did paper strip folding and again he referenced Murderous Maths when making a knot in paper and showing me that it made a pentagon.

We played a little bit of battleships before bed.
