Playground

Toby and Eve scooted on the way to take Eve to preschool. We went to the skatepark and playground before coming home.

Toby played with Beaker to make exciting reactions – bromine and aluminium was good!

We did a Magnets worksheet on Ed Place which resulted in Toby getting a gold topic badge.

We then did the final session in the odds and evens number patterns module on Math Factor.

Toby wrote a game with levels in Notes on the iPad – it was going to be a story but it turned into a game!

Toby did some colouring in Pigment and we printed it out.

We walked to collect Eve then went to the skatepark and playground.

At home Toby read Uncle Gobb and the Dread Shed by Michael Rosen.

He and Eve played stuffitystuff together 🙂

Reading Murderous Math – Mean and Vulgar Bits.

Playing Monster Bingo with Eve and I. Then creating his own game with monster bingo pieces, writing the rules down.

Drew some mazes!

Did Khan Academy – JavaScript. He created a function so that he could reuse code and then let me show him how to improve it with for loops 🙂

Using Scratch – made Mr Spaghetti who says ‘Hello noodles’ all the time! Followed by doing Geogebra and Beaker.
