Visiting school!

This morning Toby and Eve read the ‘How your body works’ book for ages! Toby was reading aloud to Eve and they were both discussing the pictures!

Toby was also trying to teach me more of the periodic table song – he thought it was funny that he was teaching me!

He also created this binary number tool, I think it is a really great design.

At lunchtime we visited Harold Court to settle in a little bit before the first day back (tomorrow). We went to Toby’s new classroom and the cookery room with Mrs Wray, Mrs Tracy and Mrs Ross. Mrs Wray is Toby’s new class teacher, he also had her for Reception year so she knows him pretty well. Mrs Tracy is Toby’s new teaching assistant who Toby had met last term but I hadn’t met before. Mrs Ross was with Toby some of the time last year and she is v positive with him 🙂

It was a very good visit and definitely helpful for Toby to see his classroom and spend time with Mrs Wray and Mrs Tracy.

We visited the shops afterwards. Once at home, we did puzzles, dominoes and reading about space!

Toby did all of his iPad time in one go today! Mostly playing Waking Mars.
